Strengthening Parliamentary and Research Services Capacity to meet the challenges of the 21st Century

The 12th APLESA Conference was officially opened by the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Mozambique, Honourable, Dr Viana Magalhaes. The delegates to the conference comprised representatives from ten (10) member countries as follows: Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia.

Rwanda is a new member and was attending the Conference for the first time.
